In collaboration with Copywriter Dan Shearer, we designed and directed The Smoothest Grill, a half-NASCAR, half-barbecue built for Keystone Light and driver Brad Keselowski. Created to celebrate the launch of Keselowski’s new “Blue Deuce” car, this one-of-a-kind tailgating machine could be towed behind a truck and fired up to cook 20 burgers at once.

Blending racing culture with backyard grilling, The Smoothest Grill became the ultimate symbol of smooth, both on and off the track. The campaign earned a Grand Prize ANA Award for Experiential Advertising and runner up for best in show (beat out by Pepsi!.)
